Come out, come out...

...WHOever you are!

I can't sleep tonight. I hope this isn't the beginning of a trend leading up to the wedding. But my brain is entirely too active to sleep right now.

Anyway, I started this blog as a way to chronicle my whole wedding planning experience for myself.

Over the past 10 months, however, it has become much more than that. According to the stat tracker on my page, I get many, many, many hits every day. People from all over the world--all 50 states, England, France, New Zealand, the Bahamas, Canada, etc. Honestly, every once in a while, I actually get hits from countries I have never even heard of. Those visits from obscure countries may or may not be legitimate readers of the blog, but still.

Sure, the DIY pages and instructions are popular. But the majority of the hits are still for the front page. In theory, these are people just "checking in" on Road to the Aisle.

I've shared, and will continue to share, details about our wedding, our lives, our future, and more. So now I'd like to turn the tables tonight. Please take a minute to leave a comment, and tell me who YOU are.

Where are you from? Are you getting married? If so, when is your wedding? What do you like about Road to the Aisle? Anything in particular you'd like to see more of (or *gasp,* less of?)?

Does anyone have any questions for me? Related to projects? Related to our wedding? Related to life?

I'd really appreciate learning just a little bit about the people behind all of these hits to the blog day after day. You don't even have to register with Blogger to leave a comment. You can just click "anonymous" and type away. Please? Pretty please?

And as always, thanks for reading! :)

My name is Anna. My fiance Jack and I live in Cincinnati, Ohio and we are getting married on October 18th. It's funny - I actually have no idea how I found your blog, but I'm so glad I did! I love to see what awesome crafty projects you are up to - I'm totally jealous of your DIY capabilities! Haha... Also, it's just nice to read up on where other brides are at in planning and getting ready for their big day. I check in every couple of days just to see how your life is going and to make sure every thing is still going smoothly for you (not that I could help if it wasn't, lol). Anyway, all the best wishes coming your way from the Queen City! I hope you and your fiance have the life together that you've been dreaming of! :)

Your DIY ideas were what first attracted my attention to your blog--but now I faithfully read your blogs. I like to know how other brides are doing along their journey to the aisle. It's getting close! And I wish you the best with your final planning in the weeks leading up to your very special day. :)

My name is Melanie, I'm getting married in October near Baltimore, MD. I found your blog through the knot (aka my own personal crack), and have read it ever since. Like others probably, since I've followed along for awhile, and I find I check back not only to read your funny stories (loved the story of the two of you!) or for your DIY info (which is also great) but also just to see that things are going well for you. Thanks for all the obvious time you put into it!

Hi, I'm Elizabeth, and I'm from Houston TX. I'm also getting married on June 21 and am having an aqua wedding (and other "accent" colors)! I first found your blog while searching for ideas of people using the Lunar Blue paper for projects, and a pic of your invitation popped up in Google Images. I'm the one who emailed you asking about your stamp pad color.

Your blog was the first I found and was interested in, and since then I have become addicted to others' blogs as well, but yours is still my favorite! I really don't mean this to sound all weird or anything, but you remind me a lot of myself and I think that's why I keep tuning in. I read your posts on the pre-cana classes when I first found your blog, and I was cracking up while I was at work because we had to do the same thing and had a similar experience.

Anyway, absolutely love your blog and all your ideas, and I wish you the very best of luck with everything for you day!

I would love to know more about what you're doing for your bridesmaids. I am at a road block....I can't figure out great presents....ideas?!
Thanks for providing some entertainment for me and keep on bloggin'.

Hi! My name is Sonya and I'm from MA. I'm marrying Roger on 08/16/08. I found your blog thru TheKnot when looking for the DIY instrustions for your aisle runner. I've bought the aisle runner and other than check your blog everyday to see what new adventure of the day is, I haven't gotten any further! I'm scared to screw up the runner so somehow rereading the directions everyweek and seeing your other projects seems to help! Love all the stories, it's like a break from the craziness in my life and it's nice to see someone actually finish projects! Your writing style is also great! I feel like I'm reading an e-mail for a friend. I was soooo excited when you posted everyday! If I was half as dedicated to my projects as I am to reading your blog I'd have everything done! Any insight for when I GOCCO my invites? I can't wait to hear how everything works out and I look foward to the Honeymoon reviews.
Good luck and thanks for all the hard work doing the Blog....it's really apreciated!
