Bridesmaids' Gifts

OK, I finally have all of the bridesmaids' gifts purchased, wrapped, and packed up, ready to go.

They are each getting a personalized tote. I bought the black totes at AC Moore for like $2-3 each, then bought the sparkly name stickers from an ebay seller. I used embellishment glue to attach them to the bags so that they would stick better than just stickers.

Inside each bag:
- Wedding day jewelry (earrings and necklace) that I made
- A pair of PJ pants from Old Navy
- A black umbrella from the dollar store (in case it rains!)
- A pair of flip flops from Old Navy that they can wear at the reception (if they want)

Everything else I bought was personalized to each girl. Michael's sister, Melissa, gets two nice photo albums because she loves pictures and always prints them and puts them into albums. His other sister, Cristina, is obsessed with her DVD collection, so I bought her two movies. For Bethany, she's pregnant (due in October), so I bought her a gift certificate for a pedicure in her hometown so that she can get her toes done when she can no longer reach them herself. For my cousin, Sabrina, a bottle of Shiraz (her favorite wine), and two cool wine glasses from Pier 1.

While shopping for Sabrina at Pier 1, I stumbled upon gifts for the last two bridesmaids as well. For my friend, Carrie, I found these serving dishes in the shape of stars... so awesome, because Carrie LOVES stars. One is big, to hold chips or something, and the other is smaller, for dip or salsa. For my cousin and matron of honor, Lindsay, I found two really cool serving dishes as well.

Here are a few pictures of some of the stuff:

All set for the rehearsal dinner on Friday!

Hi. I have been a faithful reader to your blog for a few months now and I am so excited for you and your future hubby. I've taken a lot of your suggestions for my wedding this coming November. I was wondering if you could maybe give me the name of the ebayer you got the name stickers from, I've been looking all over for some about the size you have for a project I'm working on. Good luck and I wish you the best.

Wow, that is some really cool stuff that I'm sure your girls will just love.

I'm really liking the starfish dishes, it's cool how they are blue instead of a more expected yellow or orange.

I just wanted to wish you and your future hubby all the best! I'm so excited for you and I hope everything goes as planned this weekend. Enjoy yourselves at the wedding and on the honeymoon. I'll be anxiously awaiting to hear how everything went. Your posts have been so helpful to me as I am planning my own wedding. I've got some great ideas from you, and I hope you'll be able to do an aisle runner for me. (I'll be in touch about that later.) :-) Congratulations and best wishes!

Could I also get the name of the seller or brand/type of stickers you used for the bridesmaid names (on the tote bags)? Such a cute (and affordable) idea! Thanks!
