Stage Fright

I hate being "looked at."

I'm not fond of being the center of attention.

I get embarrassed easily and subsequently, my face gets really, really red.

Exhibit A: During the shower luncheon today at work, my boss quieted down the whole room to announce that we would be cutting the cake, and I immediately wanted to crawl into a hole and die.

For next weekend? I am soooo screwed.

There is nothing I'm looking forward to more than having the doors open up at the back of the church with me, the bride(!!), standing behind them, ready to walk down to my groom. But you know what? There is also nothing I'm dreading more.

Today, when I sat back down, one of my coworkers said, "Heather, you are in so much trouble! Your face just turned like four shades of red! You do know people are going to be watching you at your wedding, right? You're the bride!"

Yeah, well... that's just great. And true. So true.

Just call me "the blushing bride."

Heather-you will be fine! I just got married a fw weeks ago and I am the same way, I turn red and i get VERY blotchy. But when that time comes the only thing you are thinking of is how wonderful your groom looks standing there waiting for you! For me, it was as if we were the only two in the room! So trust me, the worst thing you can do is stress over it!

I am the same way too. I never had a problem on my wedding day though. You will be fine. Don't even stress about it. Focus on your soon to be husband.

I am completely freaked about this too! I think about how special of a moment that is...but then I think of the eyes staring at me. And, even though they are all friends and family that I know, it is still eyes staring and it freaks me out!!!

I know it sounds a little gross, but if you apply a little preperation h it really helps with redness. I turn REALLY red, almost magenta when I get: 1)embarrassed 2)hot 3)drunk 4) just because. I have always had issues with red blotches for no real reason, but I had found an article on-line once about the subject. I got married May 17th, and I used a little Prep. H mixed with my moisturizer, and I only had one blotch on my shoulder all day, and I just applied a little more to the area and voila! Gone within a few minutes! I about a dime sized portion is all you need for fac, neck, and upper chest/arms.
