A year ago today, Michael proposed.
And I said yes (obviously).
I look back on that time and think about how exciting it was for us. It was a seemingly ordinary day. We both worked, and when he got home, I was totally focused on getting everything done and packed because we were leaving on vacation the next day.
Then that all changed when he surprised me by getting down on his knee and presenting me with a beautiful diamond and THE question that every girl always dreams of hearing from the man she loves.
Ah, memories. I can't wait to make more of them in these next few days.

I am so excited for you. I will actually be going to a wedding on the 21st. (It's at the same time and place [ceremony and reception], and I think the same colours as my wedding in two months! So I get to basically see a run through of my wedding). But I'll be thinking of you that day!
